Hartt & Soul Productions Presents: Benefitting One World
Show Time : 7:00 PM
Howard Jones first burst upon the contemporary music scene with his very English song-writing and pioneering synthesizers. He lived in the higher reaches of the album charts in the UK, USA, Germany, Italy, Sweden, Canada, Australia, and many other countries….and the hits kept coming. Entire generations not only remember, but still sway nostalgically to Jones’ quintessential hits including, “No One is To Blame,” “Things Can Only Get Better,” and “Everlasting Love.” He had ten top 40 hit singles in the UK between 1983 and 1986, and his album, Human’s Lib went to number one. Around the world, Jones had 15 top 40 hit singles between 1983 and 1992, including six in the US alone. He has been described by AllMusic as “one of the defining figures of mid-’80s synth pop.” Jones was also one of the most memorable performances during 1985’s Live Aid.
