Otherwise Known as Sheila the Great
Being a 10 year-old kid
is kind of a pain. Having an older sister is really a pain.
Being afraid of everything is . . . well, just plain painful!
Award-winning and popular author Judy Blume has created an
unlikely but extremely likable heroine in Sheila Tubman…
otherwise known as Sheila the Great! Trying desperately to cover
up her inner weaknesses and fears, Sheila stumbles from one life
crisis to another. ArtsPower’s lively musical about discovering
the person within will have you falling in love with Sheila and
her friends as she learns that her trials are, unfortunately,
essential to growing up.

If You Give a Mouse a Cookie & Other Storybooks
There is something for
every family in this dazzling musical revue of children’s books
presented by TheatreworksUSA. In “If You Give a Mouse a Cookie” a
hungry mouse asks a boy to share his cookies, a chain of events
begins: after the mouse eats the cookie, he needs milk (to wash the
cookie down), and then a mirror (to make sure he doesn't have a milk
mustache), and then some scissors (while looking at the mirror, he
noticed his hair was askew), and then a broom (to sweep up his cut
hair), and then a nap. When he wakes up, he wants another cookie.
And the whole cycle repeats again. Next up enjoy tales based on
Amazing Grace, Borreguita & the Coyote, Imogene’s Antlers, Master
Man, Math Curse & Owen.

silver scales, she refuses. How can she sacrifice the one thing
that makes her so unique? Will some good advice from the wise
old Octopus persuade the Rainbow Fish to share her gifts with
those around her? ArtsPower has turned Marcus Pfister’s
bestselling book into a delightful and touching musical about

Skippyjon Jones
Skippyjon Jones, presented
by TheatreworksUSA and based on the book by Judy Schachner, is a
little kitten with big ears and even bigger dreams! Skippyjon’s wild
imagination takes over when he catches his reflection in a mirror.
“Holy guacamole,” Skippyjon exclaims. “My ears are too big for my
head, my head is too big for my body. I am not a Siamese cat – I am
a CHIHUAHUA!” And not just any Chihuahua. He dons a mask, a cape,
and an accent, and transforms into Skippito Friskito, the greatest
canine sword fighter in old Mexico! But when the local pack of
chihuahuas is terrorized by the gigantic bee, Alfredo Buzzito El
Blimpo Bublebeeto Bandito, will Skippyjon be a ‘fraidy-cat or the
top dog?
